Rosie Gully Hudson was born September 9, 1965, to George Gully and Sadie Mae Page Gully in East St. Louis, St. Clair County, IL.

She later moved to Preston, Kemper County, MS, where she was raised by her mother and step father, T.C. Jackson. As a teenager, she moved to Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, CA, where she was a 1983 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. Afterwards, she moved to Philadelphia, Neshoba County, MS, and made it her home.

On January 13, 2001, she married Tommie Ray Hudson, a native of Philadelphia, Neshoba County, MS. Two children, both sons, were born to their union. She was the step mother of three step children, two step daughters and one step son.

During her youth, she joined Mt. Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Preston, MS. She later joined Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church in Philadelphia, MS.

She was an employee of the Pearl River Resort Silver Star Hotel and Casino via the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians in Philadelphia, MS.

She died February 26, 2002, at the age of 36.

She was the Wife of Tommie Ray Hudson; the Mother of Kerry Gully and Tommie Ray Hudson, Jr.; the Step Mother of Sparkle Hill, Laquisha Latimer, and Terrell Latimer; the Daughter of George Gully and Sadie Mae Page Gully Jackson; the Step Daughter of T.C. Jackson; the Sister of Jeanette Gully, Clara Gully Hearn Bonner, Flora Gully-Johnson Walker, Rosie Gully Hudson, Cora Gully Parker, George Gully, Jr., Jerry Gully, Ralph Gully, Roy Gully, Pearlie Ann Jackson, Addie Jane Jackson Mitchell, Everette "Ed" Jackson, and T.C. "Danny" Jackson, Jr.; the Paternal Granddaughter of Elmer Gully and Sallie Adams Gully; and the Maternal Granddaughter of Richard "Rich" McMiller and Gladys Page.
