Ruth Vaughn, age 87, of Birmingham, AL passed away March 8, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawson Vaughn and sister, Dot Cook.
She is survived by two sons, Clarence Tyler (Wanda) and Steve Vaughn; one grandson, Michael Dean; two sisters, Lucille Cater and Pat Grantham; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel from 12:00-1:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm at Tidwell Cemetery in Allgood, AL (Blount County).
