Bud was born to the late William and Clara Howard. He enjoyed fishing and hunting during his spare time, as well as woodworking and working on cars. He was a longtime member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church of Tampa. He is predeceased by two sisters, Wilma Cox and Betty Erdmann. Bud is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Norma; his sons, Larry Howard and Paul Howard of Tampa; daughters, Linda Shellito of St. Paul, Minnesota, Jeanine Howard of Tampa, and Margie Batchelder of Abilene, Texas; 14 grandchildren, Valerie, Alyn, Phillip, Steven, Renee, James, Nicki, Ronny, Chris, Eric, Betsy, Suzette, Jennifer and David; and by serveral great grandchildren.
