Services are scheduled at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Wickenburg Cemetery for James French Everett, 78, of Congress, who died Feb. 10 in the VA Medical Center in Phoenix.

The Rev. Ken Baisden will officiate.

Mr. Everett was born April 22, 1910 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and had lived in Arizona for the past 11 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, who died in 1978.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Congress, and was a life member of the Lost Dutchman's Mining Association, Inc, in Stanton.

Survivors include two daughters, Jana Eliott and Jerri Everett; a son, Larry; two brothers, Glen and Jack; three sisters, Orba Howerton, Ellen Lowery and Mary Maude; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Contributions may be made to the Volunteer Office of the VA medical Center to aid patients, c/o of the VA Medical Center, 7th St. and Indian School Road, Phoenix, 85012.

The Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
