DELHI (Special) — Funeral services for John Sylvester Amos [sic Ames], 82, of Delhi, were at 2:30 p.m. today in the chapel of Mulhearn's Funeral Home here with the Rev. J. O. Harvey officiating.
Burial, with Masonic rites, was in Delhi Masonic Cemetery.
Mr. Amos [sic Ames] died Tuesday around 9 p.m. in Richland Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Honeycutt, Addison, Ill.; one brother, Arthur Amos [sic Ames], Jackson, Miss., and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were members of the Masonic Lodge.
