Graves, Cynthia (Cyndie) Lois 52, of Bend OR passed away on July 14 2011.
Cynthia (Cyndie) Lois Graves, was born on August 19, 1959 in Belmond Iowa. She passed away at the Partners in Care hospice home in Bend OR. on July 14th. 2011.
She moved with her family to Mesa AZ from Ocheyedan Iowa in 1972. Graduated from Mesa Mountain View high school in 1978, where she excelled in academics and sports. She loved her time at Mountain View, Go Toro's !!! Her college education included attending MCC, University of AZ, where she was very active in the AOII sorority and was an advisor for the sorority after her graduation. She graduated from ASU with a teaching degree.
Worked in the family business and taught in a private school in Las Vegas. Cyndie enjoyed belonging to the GFWC (national women's organization ) voted president of the GFWC Junior Mesquite Club, in Las Vegas N.V. She held numerous other titles in both clubs.
Cyndie loved to watch football, the AZ Cardinal's being her favorite. Puzzles, were her weakness, owning more than 100, always had one or two started.
She loved to be with her nieces and nephews, was always ready when they wanted to do something or go somewhere. Cyndie is survived by her grandmother Myrle Graves, parents Max and Jean Graves , 3 sisters, Crystal and Kevin Kyle, Rebecca and John Connelly, Barbara and Bob Hatch. Four nieces, four nephews, three grand nieces, one grand nephew and her cat Phoebe.
