Sister Annie Watson began to fill the pages of her book on July 18, 1954 when she was born to Gavin and Ruth Lewis in Clarksville, Texas. She was the third of nine Children. Annie attended and graduated from Clarksville High School.
She married Hardy R. Watson on 28 Dec 1984.
The first chapter in the book of her life included the birth of two sons Craig Coleman (Tiffany) Wylie, Texas. Antron (Evelyn) Watson, Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Two daughters; Chelsey Watson Durant, Oklahoma, and Charmayne Capers (Marlon) of Perry, Georgia.
She is preceded in death by her father and one infant sibling.
As her book continues; those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of the home, Hardy Watson, and mother Ruth Lewis Clarksville, Texas, Brothers : Joe Lewis, Deport, Texas, Gavin Lewis, Arlington, Texas, Andy Lewis, Terry Lewis, Rickey Lewis of Clarksville, Texas , and Billy Lewis of Idabel, Oklahoma. The final chapter says Annie will be missed by her family, friends, loving church family and those that she knew. Though her life has departed, her joy shall last.
Services are set for 11 am Tuesday November 26, 2013 at Olive Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Burnis Burrell officiating.
Interment will follow at Elliot Cemetery, Valliant, Oklahoma.
A family visitation is set for Monday November 25th from 4 to 6 p.m. here at the funeral home.
