Services will be 10:00 am Tuesday November 26 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Decatur, IL Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Monday November 25, 2013 in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption, IL. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption, IL. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.
Lori was born September 25, 1963 in Akron, OH. the daughter of Thomas and Patricia (Mills) Aldrich. She married Kermit Louis Stokes, Sr.in Decatur, IL October 2, 1993. He preceded her in death April 12, 2012.
Lori was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She graduated from the University of Illinois and was an electrical engineer consultant at Industrial Technology Group.
Surviving are her father Thomas L. (Ardith) Aldrich of Decatur, IL, daughter Sara Stokes, at home; step-daughter Michelle (Matt) Rigg of Decatur, IL; step-son Kermit Stokes Jr. of Lovington, IL; step-grandchildren: Trevor, Travis and Gracie Rigg; sister Pamela (Keith) Johnson of Red Oak, TX; brothers: Timothy Aldrich of Tampa FL, Michael (Judith) Aldrich of Ann Arbor, MI, Gregory (Michelle) Aldrich of Beaverton, MI, Terrence (Cecille) Aldrich of Buffalo Grove, IL and Thomas M. (Dana) Aldrich of Naperville, IL.
