Mr. Durham, 71, Fair Play, son of Clifford and Opal Durham, died at home Wednesday.
He was born in Flemington, and completed high school in Valdez, Ala., after completing one year at Stockton.
He always considered Missouri his home, and returned to Cedar County after marrying Sharlyn Wolf, They had two sons. He worked many years as a carpenter and farmer in Cedar County.
Survivors include two sisters, Deloris Weland of Belton and Rita Estes of Springfield; a brother, David of Springfield; two sons, Christopher and wife Lisa of Penn Valley, Calif., and Dale of Grandview; and two granddaughters, Allison and Caitlin of Penn Valley, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Opal; and three brothers, Gary, Sylvan, and Darryl.
A celebration of life service was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Brumback Funeral Home.
