FORT WORTH - Dale E. Wyatt, 75, a retired executive for Coors Distributing Co., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at home after a lengthy illness.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Friday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials: East Meadows Baptist Church, 2000 Morrison Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76112, or the American Cancer Society.
Dale Wyatt was born Nov. 19, 1923, in Gainesville. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a member of East Meadows Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the 8th Air Force and flew B-24s in World War II.
He loved to spend time at his Cooke County farm with his longhorn cattle. He grew up in Gainesville and graduated from Gainesville High School. He also graduated from Texas Wesleyan College in 1957 with a degree in business administration. He was a colonel in the Confederate Air Force. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Polytechnic Masonic Lodge No. 925. He was also a member of the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association.
Survivors: Loving and devoted wife of 55 years, Eloise; son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Connie Wyatt of North Richland Hills; grandsons, Will and Tom Wyatt of North Richland Hills; and brothers and sisters-in-law, T. E. and Doris Wyatt of McKinney and David and Eddye Wyatt of Gainesville.
