ROBBINS, EVA LEE (EVANS) - age 88 of Fountain City, passed away Friday morning at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was the widow of Brice Robbins who died July 15, 2000. Member of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City, and the Grace Sunday school class, and was a former Sunday School teacher. Member of Tuesday Bridge Club; Suburban Hills Garden Club. She was a Master Judge Emeritus of the National Council of State Garden Clubs, Inc. A life member of Tenn. Federation of Garden Clubs She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Chapter Laureate Theta and honorary member of the Knoxville Civitan Club. Survived by daughter and son in law, Judy and Roy Loop, Knoxville; granddaughter and grandson in law, Donna and Trevor Dunham of Knoxville; great granddaughter, Bethanne Dunham; sisters, Mildred Hartsook, and Louise Ferguson of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews.Special thanks to her caregivers, Joyce Brown and Frances McCarter. Funeral service 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Gentry-Griffey Chapel Dr. Marvin Cameron and Rev. Guy Milam officiating. Interment Lynnhurst Cemetery. Pallbearers: Roy Loop, Trevor Dunham, Davis Gaddis, John Yardley, Bill Hurst and Roger McCown. in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church of Fountain City 5364 North Broadway Knoxville 37918 or to the choir of North Knoxville Baptist Church 217 W. Oldham Knoxville, Tenn. 37917. The family will receive friends Sunday 1-2:30 p.m. at Gentry-Griffey Chapel.
