Mrs. Penny L. Jackson, 65, of 1845 Pineville Rd. Grand Valley, died at 4:23 pm on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at the Titusville Area Hospital.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Titusville on January 3, 1948, to the late Andrew and Evelyn Mack Stokes. She married Lloyd R. Jackson on July 31, 1965 in Titusville.

Penny attended Titusville schools and was a graduate of Titusville High School class of 1965.

She was previously employed with McDonald's and GTE Sylvania. She was also employed by United Refinery at the Quick Fill location at East Titusville and most recently at Smokers Outlet for over ten years.

Penny enjoyed bowling with the Tuesday morning league, crocheting, singing karaoke, feeding and watching her hummingbirds and going to watch the races at Tri-City Speedway and at Knox Speedway. She also loved her dogs, Red who survives and Puggy who recently passed away.

... In addition to her parents Penny was preceded in death by a great grandson and a brother, William Guy Stokes.

Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and attended a funeral there on Monday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dan Mealy, officiating. Interment will be at Neilltown Cemetery....
