Born in Champaign County,Ohio, married John Myers at Marysville, Ohio in 1844. Came to Mahaska County,Iowa, she had three children (Wesley W., Wiiliam F. and Almedia E.) with John Myers. John Myers died in 1851 of unknown causes. She then married Hugh Johnston in 1851 and gave birth to three children with Hugh Johnston. In 1869 she married Lawson Miller, she had no children with Lawson Miller. During her marriage to Lawson Miller she traveled to Smith Center, Kansas
and spent some time there. She returned to Grandville, Mahaska County, Iowa sometime around 1880. Lawson Miller passed at some point after that and Sibyl then lived with her father Lord Lathrop until his death in 1895. She continued to live in her father's house until her death in 1901. Her Father Lord Lathrop, first husband John Myers, her son Wesley W. Myers and her grandson Duey H. Myers are also buried at Baldwin as is many more of her relatives. She had no marker until the Shipley family purchased her one this year 2013. May she rest in peace.
