Francis Marion Karraker died Friday (15 Jan 1937) at home in Dongola, after a stroke of paralysis, aged 67 years, and was buried in Dongola Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery. His funeral was at the Baptist church in Dongola. He was station agent for the Illinois Central Railroad for more than 44 years.
He left his widow, Ida S. Karraker, three brothers, Albert Karraker and John Karraker of Dongola, and Thomas Karraker, of St. Louis; and two sister, Laura Keller and Emma Cope, of Dongola.
