Larry A. Barnard, 61, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away Oct. 17, 2010. Larry was born Jan. 23, 1949, in Excelsior Springs, to James (Bill) and Melba Wayman Barnard. He was a salesman. Larry belonged to the First Baptist Church in Excelsior Springs. He also coached baseball and basketball in Blue Springs. Larry is preceded in death by his father. Survivors include daughter, Brodie Barnard; son, Ryan Barnard; mother, Melba Barnard; and grandson, Max. Memorial services were held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. Visitation was from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Cremation.
