Archie Elbert Mayo, 35 years old, a native Texan, died at a local hospital
Sunday evening at 6:30 o'clock.
Until four months ago, he was in the mercantile business in Uvalde, when he moved here and entered the same business.
He is a member of the Uvalde Woodmen of the World and the Odd Fellow's at Uvalde.

Besides his widow Sarah, he is survived by one son, Marion; two brothers, William Gabriel Mayo and Parkiel Samuel Mayo of Gordon and several half-brothers and sisters. The body is being held by
the Porter Loring Mortuary pending funeral arrangements.
