Mrs. Byrd, 86, died Friday at the home of her daughter.
Born in Darlington County, July 1, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Luke Byrd and Doshia Gainey Byrd. She was a member of Calvary Assembly Full Gospel Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Iris V. Byrd Kirby of Dillon; son in law, Earl Kirby Jr. of Dillon; grandsons, Earl Kirby III of Charleston and Timothy M. Kirby of Dillon; great granddaughter, Jessica Elizabeth Kirby; brothers in law, William Byrd of Fairmont, N.C. and Ernest Byrd of Florence; sisters in law, Mildred Goodyear of Latta and Gladys Brunson of Fayetteville, N.C.
Mrs. Byrd was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Byrd, son, Frank Elton Byrd, granddaughters, Tammy Byrd and Tammy Margie Byrd, brothers, Elerbe Byrd and William Malcolm Byrd,and her step mother, Zula Byrd.
