Mrs. Annie Pearl Holland, 88, of Meadville, MS departed this life to be with her Savior on November 22, 2013 at the Meadville Convalescent Home in Meadville. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 2:00 P M until the time of service at 3:00 P M at Praise Cathedral Church of God in Meadville. Burial will follow in Byrd's Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Lee Miley and Rev. Travis Touchstone will be officiating the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers are Brian Allred, P.G. Holland, Brad Taylor, Wade Touchstone, Jason Jones and Cody Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Touchstone and Jimmy Dean Arnold.
Mrs. Holland was born December 6, 1924 in Lincoln County, MS, to William Hosea and Lillie Miranda Freeman Allred. She was a member of Praise Cathedral Church of God. She was retired from the garment industry and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: William Leroy Holland; grandson: Doyle Jones; and sisters: Myrtle Lee Holland and Maggie Marie Holland.
Survivors are her son: Arthur Roy Holland of Centreville; daughter: Clarice Holland Jones and husband Clark of Meadville; sister: Kathryn Seale of Washington, MS; brothers: Clyde Allred and wife Marie of Vidilia, LA, Hollis Allred and wife Frances of Natchez, MS, and Bobby Allred and wife Gail of Monticello, AR; grandsons: Anthony "Tony" Jones and wife Karen of Meadville, and Royce Jones and wife Sandra of Meadville; great-grandsons: Jason and Cody Jones of Meadville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
