Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home will conduct graveside service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, at Damacus Cemetery near Lindale, with Pastor David Kizer officiating.
Nellie was born Dec. 31, 1932, in Paris, a daughter of Printice ‘Nub' and Bernice Grimes Sikes. She was married to Willie B. Wells. She retired from Krogers and loved gospel singing, baking and gardening. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie B. Wells, on May 7, 1984; her parents; sisters, Elizabeth Robinson, Betty Jo Green, Mary Ann Tatum, Barbara Benoit, Lottie Milsap, Alice Bryant; brothers Henry, Benson and Richard Sikes.
She is survived by children, Julie and Ralph Crews, Floyd and Kaye Wells, Pam and Michael Geary, six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Eddie Sikes, Billy Frank Sikes, Charles Sikes; sisters, Aliene O'Neil and Bernice Robinson.
