She was born on August 13, 1932 in Scottsdale, PA moving to this area in 1948.
Ada was a member of VFW Post 8686 in Sheffield Lake.
She enjoyed flowers, gardening, collecting dolls and angels.
She also loved to shop.
She is survived by her son, Ernest (Laura) of Lorain, daughter, Susan (Charles) Vanwinkle of Lorain, grandchildren, Gina, Jason, Tommy and Michael, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and especially her favorite niece, Mary (Dale) Scherfling.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Gilbert P. in 2002 and son, Gilbert Paul, Jr, parents, Benjamin and Mary (nee Winebrenner) Doneyho, and a brother and 3 sisters.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 22nd from 6-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
