Randall T Jordan age 61 of Amboy died Wednesday March 3, 2010 in his home. He was born March 8, 1948 in East Chicago, Indiana the son of Robert and Madelyn Rose (Moews) Jordan. He had been a police officer in Rock Falls, IL and was a member of the Whiteside County Task Force, He had also served as the Chief of Police in Amboy. He had been employed as a truck driver for Raynor Garage Doors and Ryder Trucking. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. during the Vietman War. He was a devout and traditional Catholic. He was preceded in death by his parents and step father Ernest F Michael, a brother Robert Jordan Jr. and a sister Roberta Jordan. He married Mary Love Sept. 9, 1995 in Rockford, IL He is survived by his wife of Amboy, 3 daughters Canday Jordan of Morrison, Carmen (Anthony) Bollman of Harmon, and Sandra (Eric) Dishman of Peoria, IL , 1 step son Randy (fiancé Dina Leyva) Miller of Sherman Oaks, CA, 1 step daughter Kelly Miller of Dixon, 3 grand children, 1 sister Bev (Lloyd) Rinehart of Dixon, and 1 brother Charles Jordan of Arizona. Graveside services will be on Saturday March 6, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Temperance Hill Cemetery in Amboy. Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with the Rosary at 7:30 PM in the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon. A memorial has been established to Hospice of the Rock River Valley.
