when B-24J Liberator #42-73358 crashed into
a mountainside during a nighttime navigational
training flight, twenty five miles southeast
of Muroc Army Airfield, California.

Enlisted Nov. 30, 1942, New York City.

Served with the 536th Bomb Squadron, 382nd
Bomb Group, World War II.

The airmen lost were:

2nd Lt. Frederick Bauscher, Jr pilot
2nd Lt. Allen J Haupenthal co-pilot
2nd Lt. Daniel S Logan
2nd Lt. Alton L Snell
Sgt. Joseph F Ahlert
Sgt. Joseph A Botelho, Jr
Sgt. Burton Moseley
Sgt. Jessie H Carver
Sgt. Trevor Hughes
