A funeral mass was to be offered at 11 a.m. today, Thursday, April 24, at Saint Vincent Martyr Roman Catholic Church, 26 Green Village Road, Madison, for Marian Cuva O'Donnell of Denville, formerly of Morristown and Madison, who died Monday, April 21, 2003, in the Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clare's Hospital in Dover following a long illness. She was 42.

Born in Morristown, Mrs. O'Donnell grew up in Madison and moved to Morristown. She lived in Denville for the past year.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. O'Donnell was a 1979 graduate of Bayley-Ellard Catholic High School in Madison, and a graduate of Thomas A. Edison College in Trenton, and earned credits toward a master's degree at Seton Hall University in South Orange.

She was an avid potter and artist who loved both music and art.

Her mother, Marcia Zellers Cuva, died previously.

She is survived by her husband, David O'Donnell; her father, Joseph J. Cuva Sr. of Madison; two brothers, Joseph J. Cuva Jr. of Wharton, and Ralph Cuva of Forney, Texas; her sister, Marcia Myrose of the Whippany section of Hanover Township; three nieces, and two nephews.
