LYNCH, Virginia Dare Boone, 67, of Rocky Mount, died Thursday morning, July 3, 1997 at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Henry E. and Alice Brubaker Boone, and was preceded in death by three grandchildren, four brothers and one sister. Surviving are her husband, Guy T. Lynch; one daughter and son-in-law, Vickie Alice and Galen R. Bowman, Rocky Mount; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Junell Lynch, Pleasant Hill, Ohio, Danny and Shirley Lynch, Cleveland, Ga., Randy and Shari Lynch, Rossville, Ind.; ten grandchildren, Shannon Bowman, Gentry Bowman and fiancee, Jay Reed, Brittany Bowman, Megan, Josie, Tyler, Bethany, Benjamin, Sarah Kate, and Jacob Lynch; three brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Jane Boone, Pennsylvania, Russell and Caroline Boone, Pennsylvania, Clarence and Nora Boone, Rocky Mount; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille and Abram Benedict, Irene and David Hess, Gladys and Andrew Gipe, all of Pennsylvania, Doris Ann and Lester Shively, Rocky Mount, Alice (Doley) and John Lesher, Pennsylvania; three sisters-in-law, Virginia Boone, Mary Boone, Opal Boone Wray. Funeral services will be conducted from Mountain View Old German Baptist Church (Pigg River Meeting House), 2 p.m. Saturday, with the Home Brethren officiating. Interment will follow in the Lynch family cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorials be made to Carilion Hospice Services of Franklin County or Carilion Home Health Services of Franklin County, 180 Floyd Avenue, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service, South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
