HARRISVILLE SAILOR DIES AT SAN DIEGO

Yeoman Second Class Leonard Layton Adams, 27 formerly of Harrisville, died suddenly yesterday of a heart attack while on duty with the U.S. Navy at San Diego, Calif.

He had served for nine years in the Navy.
Born in Harrisville, March 22, 1936, he was the son of Mrs. Mary Webster Adams Rodgers and the late Chester Adams.

A graduate of Harrisville High School, Adams was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Albuquerque, N.M.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bernice Bernard Adams; three children, Leonard Layton Jr.,Keith William, and Kimberly Lynn, all at home; his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Rodgers of Harrisville; and two sisters, Mrs. Hester Knight of Mercer R.D.6 and Mrs. Paul Graham of Utica, N.Y.

Funeral arrangements in charge of the Shelley-Dorr Funeral Home, Grove City.
