Suffolk - William Francis Fawcett, 89, passed away on Monday, Nov. 4, 2013. He was a native of Lawrence, MA a Catholic an Army Veteran of WW11 and retired from Blue Line Express.

Bill was predeceased by his wife, Gloria Proulx Fawcett and his parents Mary Terrio Fawcett and John Fawcett. He is survived by two daughters, Mary Fawcett, and Dottie Fawcett; six sons, Roger Fawcett, councilman for the city of Suffolk and wife, Candy Fink Fawcett, Raymond Fawcett and wife, Kathy, Donald Fawcett and wife, Linda, Bill Fawcett and wife, Vicky, John Fawcett and wife, Bonnie, Michael Fawcett and wife, Chris; seventeen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Maryview Nursing Care Center, Suffolk for the excellent care given to Bill during his illness. The family will receive friends in Loving Funeral Home Churchland Chapel Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. They suggest memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association .
