The body of Joseph B. Thomas, 30 years old, who died in Columbus, O. Sunday night, will arrive here this afternoon on Norfolk and Western train No. 4, according to a telegram received here today by relatives. The deceased formerly lived here. He was suddenly taken ill about a week ago and lay in a stupor at a hospital. Other details are not known by relatives here. Mr. Thomas is survived by a wife and four children, who will come here with the body; his father, L. P. Thomas, five brothers, W. T. Thomas, L. M. Thomas, C. R. Thomas, H. M. Thomas, all of Lynchburg, and Robert Thomas, of Baltimore, four sisters, Mrs. G. N. Shelton, of Accotink, Mrs. Goode Traylor, of Columbus; Mrs. Roy Shinne, of North Carolina, and Miss Vashti Thomas, of Lynchburg.
