GASTON - Service for Mary Louise Spires Boozer, 67, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Barr-Price Buneral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, with the Rev. Johnny Slice officiating. Burial will follow in Gibson Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Ms. Boozer passed away Monday, November 18, 2013. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Fletcher Malcom and Vermell Neal Spires. She was a member of Edmund First Baptist Church and a retiree of Bellsouth.
She is survived by a son, Bill Boozer; daughter, Tracy Boozer Mills; brother, Ed Spires; grandchildren, Adam and Sally Boozer.
She was predeceased by her husband, William A. Boozer, Jr.; sister, Bernice Rhodes; and a brother, Mike Spires.
