"Brown Hill, June 21 - Wesley Mickle died at his home at Mickle Hollow June 16, after an illness of but a few weeks of paralysis of the brain. The deceased was born in Bloomfield township, Oct 5, 1847, where he had spent a greater part of his life. He was a good neighbor, husband and father, and ready to help in time of need. Beside the grief-stricken widow, are left to mourn one daughter, Miss Calla at home, and a little boy, Charley Swanson, who has made his home with them for nearly two years; three sisters, Mrs Daniel McQueen, Mrs Frank Glover, Mrs Durant Nillis, four brothers, Emery, Miles and Milo, all of Bloomfield and Zach of Garland. One brother Henry preceded him to the grave. The funeral services were held Sunday at the Brownhill church at 11 am, conducted by Rev N J McIntyre of Corry, with Rev Fullom of Little Cooley and Rev E T Amy of this place, assisting. Interment was made at Millers' Station cemetery."
