She was a member of the LDS Church.
Phyllis was the matriarch of a large family of ten children whom she loved and cherished. She deeply loved her sister, Sharon, and looked forward to the long conversations that kept them bonded together even though they were miles apart.
Despite all her physical challenges, she would fiercely fight back to live life at it's fullest.
Phyllis was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by nine children, 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren who will always have fond memories of "Grandma Muffin". Her children will fondly remember the time-out chair next to the stove since many of them spent several hours there.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Stephen Huffman, Kathryn Said (Mom), Roland Earl Huffaker (Dad), Loren (brother), and "Aunt" Tooie.
A special thanks to the caregivers at Davis Hospital who treated her with dignity and comforted her and the family during this difficult time.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 21st at 10 a.m. at the Clinton Cemetery, 750 West 800 North.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Lindquist's Roy Mortuary
