Henry Smith Swan, who died on Sunday [15 May] morning at his home, No. 176 Spring Street, was a retired egg merchant. He left Montreal, Canada three years ago and until last summer resided with his brother Charles W. Swan of North Milton [Saratoga Cnty, NY]. Mr. Swan was born in Plainfield. N.H., 68 years ago. Besides his brother he is survived by two nieces, Miss Mary A. Swan, of North Milton and Mrs. W. Melville Hall of Montreal; and a nephew Henry M. Swan of this village [Saratoga Springs]. Funeral services will be held at the late residence at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow [18 May] afternoon, the Rev. Herbert M. Gesner, pastor of the Second Presbyterian Church to officiate.
