Samuel Crantford Willis, 81, of Siloam Springs, AR passed away November 20, 2013, at his home.
He was born March 18, 1932 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to D.C. and Jewel Willis.
He married Ruby Bennett on September 20, 1958 in Michigan. Sam was a farmer and enjoyed being in the outdoors.
He was preceded by one sister; Doris Griffin.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Willis of the home, two sons; Clay Willis of West Siloam Springs, OK, Michael Willis of Westville, OK, three daughters; Janice Johnson and husband Lael of Noel, MO, Denise Bohot and husband Brad of Greenland, AR, Deanna Willis of Siloam Springs, AR, one brother; Daniel Willis and wife Rhonda of Skiatook, OK, two sisters; Mary Lou Spears and husband Bill of Tulsa, OK, Polly Meade of Decatur, AR, 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 5:00 pm on Friday, November 22, 2013. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Fairmount Cemetery with Mr. Carl Dye officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, AR.
