1976 - Mrs. Eva M. Achey, 74, of 451 Washington St., Allentown, manager of the Allen Theater for the past eight years, died Friday in her home. Born in Alburtis, she was a daughter of the late Curtis I. J. and Lizzie (Reese) DeLong. She was a member of Dubbs Memorial United Church of Christ, Allentown. Surviving are a daughter, Betty L., wife of Marvin W. Scholl of Emmaus; two sisters, Mrs. Verna Annoni, with whom she resided, and Anna M., wife of Malcolm Roach of Allentown; four brothers, William E. of Cape Coral, Fla., and Charles W. L., Paul A. and LeRoy M., all of Allentown, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown.
