Juanita Flora Smith Fitzgerald died on 03 June 2007 in Florida after a long illness.

She was born on 17 July 1919 in Abraham, Raleigh County, W.Va., a daughter of C.O. (Charles Ota) Smith Sr. and wife Flora Lee Arthur Smith. Mrs. Fitzgerald moved to central Florida in 1959.

Mrs. Fitzgerald was preceded in death by her loving husband, Varden Fitzgerald, who died in 1993; and children, Carolyn Lois and Billy Randall.

She was survived by her children, Stuart (Bonnie), Millie (Eddie), Paul (Charlene), Eddie (Faye) and son-in-law, Jim (Carolyn Jean); 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie Smith Richmond, Carrie E. Smith Mann; and brother, C.O. Smith Jr.

Services were held at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home Goldenrod Chapel, Winter Park, Fla. Burial was in Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 Harrell Road Orlando, Fla., in the Court of Peace, Quad 1, Row Q19, Space 2.
