WALNUT COVE – Daniel Julian East, 60, died Monday night, November 18, 2013.
He was born October 2, 1953 in Forsyth County to Eulice and Lucy Louise Brown East. Mr. East was a former employee of Tril Transport and was of the Primitive Baptist faith.
A 2:00 pm funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Rock House Primitive Baptist Church with Elder J.H. Keaton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eulice East and 2 brothers, Moses East, Sr. and James East.
He is survived by his mother, Lucy Brown East of Westfield; 4 children, Daniel East, Jr. of Ararat, VA, Priscilla East of Galax, VA, Danielle East and Dawn East, both of Walnut Cove; 6 grandchildren, Haley East, Brooklyn East, Blake Hailey, Bryson Mabe, Summer East, Kayla East; 2 sisters, Gloria Nelson and husband Bill, LaHoma Kahn and husband Tony; 2 brothers, Jerry East and wife Glenda and Jesse East.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Burroughs Funeral Home.
