Otto Burnett Lockstedt, 82, died July 29, 1976, at 6 p.m., in the V.A. Hospital, Kerrville. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 31, at 2 p.m., in Beckmann Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. A.W. Weber and Rev. C.C. Ehler of Kerrville officiating. Burial followed in the Garden of Memories, Kerrville. Mr. Lockstedt was bom April 7, 1894, in Maxwell, the son of Henry Lockstedt and Minnie Jahn Lockstedt. He married Otillie Zimmermann Oct. 14, 1920, in Moulton, and she survives him. Other survivors, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Mrs. Laura Mae Craig, Kerrville, and Alice, Mrs. Temple Burner, Fredericksburg; four grandchildren; and one sister, Cora, Mrs. Carl Hilsher, Gonzales. Preceding him in death were one daughter, Olga, who died in infancy, and the following brothers, Henry, Fred, August, Walter and Bruno Lockstedt. The Men's Choir of Zion Lutheran Church sang at the services, and Mrs. Victor Stahl was the organist. Full military honors were accorded him by the Louis Jordan Post, American Legion.
