Randy Eugene Beard Oct 10, 1952 - Aug. 18, 2005 Randy was born in Pittsburg and had lived in Lodi for the past 23 years. He enjoyed managing the Alamo Cafe in Alamo and working on cars or any other mechanical problem in life. Apart from his work and hobbies, Randy loved spending time with his family and friends. He was our father and best friend! He will be missed and loved by all who knew him. Survivors include his children Kim Arredondo, Ryan and Mark Beard, grandchildren Stephanie, Samantha, Joseph and Dylan, long time companion Clara Sobaszkiewicz, father Rev. Ernest L. Beard, brothers Layton, Mike, Steve and Gary, sister Sharon Slate. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at 11:00 AM at The Gospel Light Temple, 105 Aspen Drive, Pacheco. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Concord.
