Timothy Wallace Gordon, 50, of Panama City, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013. He was born on February 21, 1963 in Memphis, Tennessee. Tim served in the United States Air Force for twenty one years. From 2002 to present, Tim worked as an Assistant Chief Engineer for WMBB News 13. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. For many years, Tim coached girls fast pitch softball in Callaway. He enjoyed teaching his daughters and other teammates how to pitch in the fast pitch league. In addition, Tim loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Tim was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. "How ‘bout them Cowboys!" He is survived by his wife, Marika Gordon; four daughters, Tara Humbert (Jason), Rachelle Jernigan (Sheldon), Kayla Gordon, and Karissa Gordon (Steven Wood); one son, Stefan Gordon; mother and father in-law, Francoise and Larry Walley; two sisters, Nancy Akers and Holly Winfield; two brothers, Tom Gordon and Archie Gordon; brother-in-law, Derrick Walley (Kathy); nine grandchildren, Paris, Davin, Brody, Jocelyn, Jett, Kaylyn, Brooklyn, Alec, and Madelyn; numerous nieces and nephews; his special friends Ed Averion, Carl, and Michelle; and his beloved dog, Dixie. He is preceded in death by his parents, Archibald Gordon and Gail Cluxton; and one cousin, Troy Ogle. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of the Emerald Coast, for the care and love they have provided during this difficult time.
