Mrs. Charles Keehn died at 2:30 this morning at her home north of town, after an illness of only four days from pneumonia. Her sudden death comes as a great shock to her many friends, only a few of whom had learned of her illness. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved husband and three sons who are thus called upon to mourn the death of a beloved wife and mother.

Mary Ford was born in Galena, IL., and was about 52 years of age at the time of her death. She was united in marriage to Charles Keehn at Hawarden, Iowa, April 21, 1897. Three sons, Ray, Lee and Robert were born to this union. She is also survived by her aged father, five brothers and five sisters. The deceased was a quiet, home loving wife and mother and it was here that her interests were always centered. A little over a years ago they built a fine new farm home, and it was her joy to care for it and see that those about her were made happy and content. Her intimate acquaintances were always her warmest friend and that friendship always grew the more intimately one became acquainted with her.

Funeral services will be held in Hawarden, the hour of which has not yet been fixed, and interment will be made in Grace Hill cemetery.
