Bessie Hines Dies Tuesday
Miss Bessie Hines, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hines of this city died Tuesday morning at 5 a.m. at her home after an illness of about two months.

Bessie was born in Villisca, Iowa, March 2, 1886 and departed this world June 24, 1913. She came while a little child with her parents to this city, about twenty-five years ago and has made her home here with her parents.

For the past two or three years she has not been very strong being forced to give up her position in the telephone office about a year ago on account of her health and after gaining her strength she accepted a position into Louie Burkhalters in which place she remained until the last serious illness from which she has been a very patient sufferer until the end came.

Bessie was an exceptionally bright, gentle, lovable girl. Always ready to render any service to anyone looking to the needs and wants of others more than her own comfort and has made many friends.

She was a member of the Christian church and Christian Endeavor and was willing and ready to meet her Savior, and her last words to her parents was not to grieve, all was well.

She was also a member of the Highlander lodge where her chair as chief spearsman will have to be filled with others but in the heart of the members of the order Bessie will never be forgotten for they had become very fond of her, their assistance and help in the hour of her sickness and death will never be forgotten in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hines.
