Sandy Sullivan Poole, 60, of Athens, Alabama, formerly of Fayetteville, died Tthursday night (October 13, 2005) in Huntsville Hospital. She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Berkeley and Martha Bell Sullivan. Mrs. Poole was owner of B & S Grocery, and vice president, secretary, and treasurer of BSP Group Corporation. Survivors include her husband, Benny Poole of Athens; five sons, Benjamin and Bert Poole, both of Athens, Brian Poole of Louisville, Kentucky, Britt Poole of Hartselle, Alabama, and Burrkley Poole of Hazel Green, Alabama; a daughter, Cynthia Marshall of Athens; brother, Rex Sullivan of Fayetteville; sistter, Glendon Fitch of Fayetteville; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Interment was in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
