Frederick Hiltz
AYLESFORD - Frederick Loran Hiltz, 81, one of Nicholsville's oldest resident, died at his home Sunday following a short illness. Born in Paradise, Annapolis county, he was the son of David and Ella Marshall Hiltz.
He had operated a farm, and worked in the cooperage trade for the past 60 years.
In 1910 he married Nora Banks, [*its actually 1904] who predeceased him in 1926. [ *its 1925]
Surviving are two sons, Loran and Gerald, Aylesford; four daughters Violet (Mrs. Ernest Ward), Nicholsville; Lorna (Mrs. Albert Taylor) [*it looked like Raynor], Nicholsville;
Verna (Mrs. Hilton Lacey), Berwick; Eva (Mrs. Noble Veinott), Nicholsville. One sister, Mrs. George Osgwood, Florida; two brothers, Ernest Hiltz, Aylesford, Arthur Hiltz, Boston.
Funeral services will be held from the H. C. Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Gordon McClaire will officate.
Burial in the family lot in Morristown.
