Joel Stephen Jordan Jan. 27, 1951 - Nov. 15, 2013
Joel Jordan was born January 27th 1951 and passed away at the age of 62 on November 15th 2013 in Meridian, MS. after being diagnosed with a terminal illness earlier this year. He was well known in the Gulf Coast areas as a Master Automotive Body Mechanic. Loved by many, and friends to all who knew him. And a very special family member we'd like to mention is Mr. Clark Bowen for such care in the final days of his life, we know he has gone home to be with his Lord he so dearly loved.
Joel is preceded in death by his brother David Jordan of Pascagoula, his youngest son J.D. Jordan of Mobile, his father J.W. Jordan and his sister Debbie Jordan of Tennessee.
Joel is survived by his mother Dixie Bowen Boarman of Moss Point, MS. His Children; Cheryl (Russell) Walker of Lucedale, Steve Jordan of St. Martin, Tammy Avalos of Lucedale, Joel Jordan Jr. of Saraland, his siblings; Pam (Terry) Kiker, Kenny Jordan, Stacy Jordan, Stanley (Darlene) Jordan, Tonya (Bruce) Lynd, and Alicia (Dennis) Evans, his Grandchildren; Justin Howell of TX, Roy Butler, Jr. of Lucedale, Candace Butler of Lucedale, Courtney Butler of Lucedale, Sumer H. Williams of Lucedale, Nancy Jordan, Ethan Jordan, Emily Jordan all of Saraland, Al, and Ashley Jordan of FL., 2 great-grandchildren, Sabree L. Butler, Talon C. Howell both of Lucedale and 1 due any day now, Brylan K Williams.
There will be a Graveside Service in his honor on Thursday the 21st of November at Merchant Cemetery located in Raleigh, MS. at 11 am.
