Connie Marie Cook Yates, 52, of Valdese, passed unexpectedly on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at her residence.
Born June 21, 1961, in Burke County, she was a daughter of Earl Richard Cook, of Valdese and the late Joan Williams Cook.
In addition to her mother, Ms. Yates was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kevin and Jerry Cook. She attended Crosslink in Rutherford College.
Ms. Yates leaves behind to cherish her memory in addition to her father, Earl Cook, her daughter, Katelyn Yates, of the home;
Two brothers, Mark Cook and wife, Wanda, of Taylorsville and Ronald Clark, of Morganton;
A sister, Lynn Marcantel, of Valdese.
Graveside services will be held 12:00 PM, Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Burke Memorial Park with the Reverend Mark Smith officiating.
