Frances Marie Terry Smith, age 98, of Springfield, MO, formally of Monett passed away on July 30, 2014 at the Christian Health Care East in Springfield, MO. Frances was born April 29, 1916 in Havensville, KS to the late Clarence Hugh and Amelia Marie (Schwartz) Rawlings.

Frances worked many years at Cassville Courthouse, and State of MO in the Commodity Division. Frances was a member of the Fundamental Methodist Church in Monett, where she was active in the Ladies Missionary Group. She also was a volunteer for St. Vincent's Hospital Auxiliary.

She married Hoze Terry December 25, 1935. They shared 44 years until his passing in August 2, 1980. She married Wilburn Smith "Smitty" May 20, 1992 until his passing in November 5, 1992.

She is survived by her children, Fred Terry and wife Margaret, Lenora Killman, Gene Terry and wife Kathy, Sue Ford and husband Floyd, Joe Terry and wife Loretta, Cheryl Lauxman and husband Stan, Gary Terry and wife Robin, Jeanetta Terry and Lee Smith and wife Darlene; thirty-one grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, and twenty-three great-great-grandchildren.; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends; two brothers Clarence Rawlings, Jr, Bob (Rowen) Rawlings; two sisters Katherine Fowler, Violet Bastura.

She is preceded in death by parents, three brothers, Frank and Tom Rawlings and Gene Brown; three sisters, Lenora Coates, June Coatney and Betty Wendler and a son-in-law Jim Killman.

Funeral services for Frances will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at the Fundamental Methodist church with Reverend Ronnie Howerton officiating. The family will receive friends from 9 - 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment will be in the Sparks Cemetery.
