Al was born to Anton and Margaret (Piel) Kramer and graduated from Stoneham High School. In 1950, he married Gloria Glynn. He was a lineman/troubleshooter for Colorado Central and later Public Service Company retiring after 35 years in 1985. Al loved gardening, fishing and was a jack of all trades. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and loved creating and inventing things.
He was an active member of St. Williams Catholic Church in Fort Lupton until moving to Brighton. He and Gloria were selected as "Honored Couple" of St. Williams for their many contributions in 1988.
Surviving: children Kathy and husband Jake Wilson of Ft. Lupton, Cheri and husband Bob Coburn of Aurora, Karen and husband Curt Lukassen of Cotopaxi, and Brad Kramer of Fort Lupton; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and brothers Willis and Herb Kramer of Greeley, Bob Kramer of Ft. Lupton, and Pat Mackey of Greeley.
He was preceded by his parents, wife, three sisters and two brothers. Funeral Mass held February 28 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Brighton. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled the arrangements and obituary.
