"Death of Lieut. Jones, D.C.M.
Mrs. W. Cannon of White Rock, has received advice that her cousin, Lieut. A. W. P. Jones, who was recently awarded a D.CM. for bravery displayed during an attack on the Hindenburg line in France was killed in Flanders recently. Lieut. Jones was a young man in the early twenties and enlisted early in the campaign. His father is secretary of the Liberal Association, Brisbane and is an old resident of Queensland."
