Age 101, she departed this life November 16, 2013. Preceded in death by husband, Rev. James L. Cole; sons, Rev. James L. Cole, Jr. and Wendell Cole; grandchildren, Arketia Denise Cole, Karen Dianne Phelps; daughters-in-law, Patricia Gassaway Cole and Earline Cole; six brothers and 3 sisters.
Survived by son, Harold Leon (Ollie) Phelps; daughters-in-law, Mary Kathryn Cole, Helen Cole; brother-in-law, R. B. Tidwell; six grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
