SHARON- Elizabeth Ann Drake 74, of Silver Lake Shores, Sharon, CT., passed away November 15, 2013, at the Sharon Health Care Center.
Born March 7, 1939 in Sharon, CT., Elizabeth Drake was the daughter of the late Florence (Prindle) Drake and William "Arthur" Drake.
Elizabeth graduated from Housatonic Valley Regional High school in 1957.

Elizabeth was raised on Sharon Mountain, she loved to garden, tend to the birds, watch the deer that came into the yard, was an active member of the church and loved to be around children.Elizabeth was an avid reader her entire life and she enjoyed making various crafts.

Elizabeth was employed as a Nanny for several local families over the years.Though Elizabeth never married and did not have children of her own, the children that she did take care of loved her as one of their own family.This is a great reminder to us all that "Family" is not defined only by who you are related to but also who shares your love, your heart and your memories.

Friends and relatives fondly remember Elizabeth as a wonderful woman who took lovingly care of them and their siblings when they were young.

Elizabeth is survived by her sister Virginia "Ginger" Mugler, her nephew Richard Mugler III and her niece Deborah Mugler, currently residing in Pittsfield, MA. Elizabeth was very blessed to have many wonderful caring friends and the Mugler family thanks all of them from the bottom of their hearts for the love, support and friendship that they bestowed upon her.

A Memorial Service for Elizabeth Drake will be held on Saturday, November 30th at 10:00 am at the United Methodist Church in Sharon CT.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend to celebrate her life and share their memories of Elizabeth.A private graveside burial of her ashes will be this Saturday November 23rd in the Ellsworth Cemetery where she will be eternally placed in the loving arms of her parents.In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the United Methodist Church in Sharon, CT or The American Diabetes Association.
