CRYSTAL LAKE - Gail E. Burton, 73, of San Diego, Calif., died Wednesday, April 25, 1990, at the Georgian Court Convalescent Center, San Diego.
She was born March 16, 1917, in Crystal Lake, the daughter of the late Roy and Dora (Pierson) MacLaughlin. On March 19, 1937, in Crystal Lake, she married Herbert P. Burton, who died April 1, 1975.
Mrs. Burton is survived by two sons, James (Mary) Burton in Mount Vernon, Wash., and Herbert (Donna Lee) Burton, Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter-in-law, Darlene Burton of Mount Vernon, Wash.; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Dorothy Sweetland, Fox River Grove.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert, and three brothers, Glen, Bruce, and Reginald "Bud".
Visitation will be Monday between 4 and 9 p.m. at the Querhammer Funeral Home in Crystal Lake. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the
funeral home.
Burial will be at the McHenry County Memorial Park in Woodstock.
